Ancient Tree Yellow Tea Cake
£1.50
Fruity · Honey · Bright
Yellow tea is rare; leaves are gently “wrapped and warmed” after firing, a slow process that softens any grassy edges and brings a creamy, honeyed depth. Pressed into a 5 g cake, this ancient-tree yellow tea infuses to a soft golden cup with bright fruit, meadow-flower notes and an unusually smooth, rounded body.
Each cake is individually sealed in a high-performance pouch to keep light, odours and humidity out, preserving the tea’s quiet brightness until you are ready to brew.

Where it Begins
Yunnan, China
Among the old tea forests around Pu’er, leaves from ancient large-leaf trees are crafted into a rare yellow tea. After pan-firing, the warm, moist leaves are wrapped and left to gently “yellow” in their own heat, a slow resting that softens harshness and deepens aroma. The result is a clear golden infusion – silky, rounded, and quietly layered with floral, honeyed sweetness.
